Target Audience Research: We utilized social media insights and feedback from patient surveys in order to understand the audience. Their confusions with the brand or the company as a whole, and how we can communicate more efficiently and effectively with our audience.
Brand Refresh: The next step was to use this information to better inform our brand. The brand refresh included more than an updated logo - we established their colors, patterns, image types, and overall voice.
Social Media Presence: Once we established our brand, we moved to social media and created a strategy that was based on being an educational account for our patients. The goal was to be positioned as a reputable medical company.
Website Design: ARS needed a website that would help inform patients and get leads for sales reps. The site was a two part solution. Get the right information out there about the products we offer, why we chose certain products, and how we operate as a company.
Print / Marketing: Finally, we put it all together for their trade shows. I designed their booths for trade shows - with all the previous mentioned, they were set up for a successful launch at trade shows across the states.
The old brand was a bit faded and lacked the brand recall needed to stay viable. The light gradient made it difficult to use in print across a wide array of materials, and the font was too thin and crowded for small scale print. I made the colors a bit more bold, and kept the essence of the original design per their request, while making it stand out among their competitors and bringing it into the 21st century.
I learned a lot at this company about the medical industry and design. I decided to officially launch AMUX Designs in fall of 2023 and took my leave on good terms. They continue to use me for their online media.
